How to measure a jacket you already own

  • A jacket that fits you well
  • A measuring tape
  • A flat surface
1

Chest
(half)

Measure straight across from armpit to armpit. This is the half chest — no need to double it, just match this number to the chart.
2

Shoulders

Measure straight across the back, from one shoulder seam to the other.
3

Sleeve

Measure from the shoulder seam down to the end of the ribbed cuff.
4

Length
(from shoulder)

Measure from the top of the shoulder, near the collar, straight down to the bottom hem.

Tips for best results

  • Lay the garment flat on a table or hard surface.
  • Smooth out any wrinkles before you measure.
  • Do not stretch the fabric while measuring.
  • Measure in inches, and measure twice to be sure.
Between two sizes?Choose the larger size for a more comfortable fit, especially if you plan to wear a hoodie or jumper underneath.
Please noteDo not choose your size on age, height or usual clothing size alone. Sizes vary between brands.
